Software Engineer (Front End)

San Francisco

Cardiogram wants to build your own personal health companion. We use your heart rate data to predict and prevent heart conditions, while also suggesting and encouraging behaviors that strengthen your health.

UI is essential to achieving this vision. We want to build interfaces that are simple and delightful to use, we love to sweat the details. Our product team is looking for engineers to accelerate the build cycle of the Cardiogram app, champion the user experience, and help push the boundaries of healthcare innovation.

Our stack:

-Our client is built with React/Redux, running on a Node.js server

-Beautiful, informative data visualizations built in D3

-PostgreSQL database with over 1 billion heart rate data points

You'll be working with us to:

-Conceive and build a robust, elegant front-end application that users love

-Define and maintain development practices that help us move fast

-Work with a wide range of tools and technologies and be able to evaluate technologies for what we are building

-Determine priorities by estimating the potential impact of projects

-Teach those around you the beauty of front end while learning everything from healthcare reform, business, design to machine learning
